Spark Design is hitting the blue skies this weekend for BUST's Holiday Craftacular. Sunday, December 14th will be a busy day at the Metropolitan Pavilion -- come and visit us from 10am - 7:30pm.

Want to order handmade lovelies from Spark Design this holiday season? We offer custom orders through Friday, December 5th for delivery by Christmas. Email us at k [at] sparkstudio.net.

We offer 5 sizes of necklaces:

• Petite square, 3/4" x 3/4"
  
• Square, 1 1/4" x 1 1/4"
  
• Petite rectangle, 3/4" x 1 1/2"
  
• Large rectangle, 1 1/4" x 2"
  
• Long & lean, 3/4" x 2 1/2"

Necklaces are available with steel cable chokers and magnetic clasps in 16", 18" and 20". Sterling snake chains are also available in 16" and 18" lengths. Jewelry bail is sterling silver.

Rings come in sizes 5 - 10 are sterling silver.

When ordering, you may choose a base color and up to two layer colors. Color chart is below:

Payment options are check and credit card. Necklaces and rings are $32.00. Multiple piece discounts are available.

Dia de los Muertos

Bare Hands Gallery is hosting its sixth annual Dia de los Muertos Festival - Day of the Dead - on Sunday, November 2nd. The festival is an amazing display of art and love, with installations, music and procession. Held from 1:00 - 10:00pm, it is sure to be a memorable experience for everyone.

In the spirit of Day of the Dead, I created some skull necklaces for the show. Here's a peak:

Artwalk 2008

Mark your calendars for September 5-6 for Birmingham's 7th Annual Artwalk! A wonderful grassroots arts festival, Artwalk transforms the loft district to a downtown art show. Featuring over 100 artists, it's a great display of local and regional talent.

Spark will be hosted by Bancography, located at 2301 1st Avenue North, Suite 103.

It's a Magic City!

Spark Design had a wonderful show at Magic City Art Connection. A juried show in Birmingham, Alabama, the event was given a "Top 20 Events in the Southeast" distinction this year.

A contempory, outdoor art festival, Magic City is a wonderful event that brings together some great artists in a variety of mediums. Check out their site at http://www.magiccityart.com/.
